Welcome to the annual Frosty Fruits Ski Trip; Australia’s Gay & Lesbian Short Ski Week, running from Thursday August 19 to Sunday August 22, 2010.
Hosted in the highest Alpine Village in Australia - Hotham Alpine Resort. Located on top of the mountain; this is the ultimate in ski-in ski-out alpine experience. You will be out of bed in seconds and onto your skis or board for the first tracks of the day.
This trip is in the height of the season which means plenty of snow and lots of frosty fun – a great gay holiday!
Getting there is easy with a direct QantasLink flight from Sydney and direct coach with flight options from Melbourne.

Staying and skiing or snowboarding is just as easy, with simple all-inclusive packages designed to make your gay ski getaway a breeze to organise.
Women skiers are also looked after with BOUND Magazine presenting a special Women’s Program across the 4-day event.

| 36cm New Snow In 48 Hours - Monday, August 02, 2010Hotham reports that this snowstorm has not disappointed.
After heavy snowfalls all day yesterday they now have 27cm of fresh powder on the ground - that's 36cm of snowflakes in 48hrs! Snowshowers are predicted to continue today.

| 24cm Of Fresh Powder! - Thursday, July 15, 2010 The snow has finally arrived with 24cm of fresh dry snowflakes falling in the past 24 hours!
Wintery blizzard conditions hit in the early hours of yesterday morning and will continue into today with snow showers expected.
The average natural snowdepth is 38cm with 61cm in snowmaking areas.
The overnight minimum temperature reached a chilly -4.7 degrees and the current temperature is -4.4 degrees. Forecast maximum today is -2 degrees.

| Fresh snowfalls at Hotham overnight - Tuesday, July 06, 2010Hotham Media reports:
It snowed! 2cm of fresh flakes have fallen so far and we look forward to this continuing today and tomorrow. Weather reports state various predictions from snowshowers clearing by midday today through to 15cm falling today in Victorian Resorts - we know which one we hope is right!
The current temperature is -2.9 degrees and snowmaking is underway across the mountain.
The overnight low was -3.2 degrees.
The average natural snowdepth is now 20cm and the snowdepth in snowmaking areas is 69cm.

| Village Chair opens today! - Wednesday, June 30, 2010Hotham Alpine Resort have reported in their daily bulletin today that the Village Chair and Village loop will open today for the first time in 2010! More terrain is being assessed for opening prior to the weekend, bring on the snow falls!
It is currently snowing and snow showers are expected to remain throughout the day, with a predicted top of minus 4 degrees.
Three centimetres of snow fell overnight, bringing the natural average snowdepth to 16cm. A great run on the snowguns now sees an average of 55cm in snowmaking areas.
