Following this week's fantastic snowfalls, we're pleased to announce Gotcha, Keogh's and The Orchard will reopen today, providing more terrain for our intermediate and advanced riders. We couldn't have done it without our dedicated Grooming team!
The skies cleared last night and a partly cloudy day with very light winds is forecast. The maximum temperature today is expected to reach 3 degrees.
Temperatures overnight dropped just below 0 degrees so the corduroy will be firm and fast this morning. The average natural snowdepth is 101cm.
Groomers picks for today are the Big D for beginners, Sun Run for intermediate and Imagine for advanced riders. The Big D and Basin Rail Parks are open.
Chains are still being fitted to 2wds on both approaches to Hotham due to ice patches on the road.
Don't forget your entry into the two Banked Slalom events tomorrow. Registration closes at 1pm today with late entry accepted ONLY at Bib Collection 8.30 - 9am tomorrow at the Hotham Sales Deck Showroom (opposite Chill Bar).
Keep you're eyes peeled today, Alaskan extreme snowmobilers Jimmy Blaze and Cory Davis will be warming up at the base of the Summit in preparation for tomorrow night's big show. You might catch a sneak peak of what's in store!
